The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) awards a mix of Catholic school teachers, principals, administrators and organizations every year. This award highlights the essential role these leaders play in their communities, serving as devoted witnesses to the Catholic faith and recognizes their outstanding efforts, contributions and achievements on behalf of Catholic school education.
“Our award recipients embody the model of bearing witness to Christ every day in Catholic school communities across the country,” said NCEA President/CEO Dr. Thomas W. Burnford. “Their dedication and passion for Catholic education and faith formation serves as inspiration for everyone they come in contact with.”
NCEA will recognize the honorees of the 2020 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Awards at a special reception and dinner in April at the NCEA Convention & Expo in Baltimore, MD.
NCEA’s Convention & Expo is the largest private-education association gathering in the world. The annual convention draws thousands of members and participants from Catholic school communities including elementary and secondary school teachers and principals, religious education programs as well as diocesan offices, church pastors, superintendents and school board members. The convention is a forum to exchange ideas, hear about current research and data related to Catholic education and learn about new technology and resources.
